Level 3 to 6 – If you were a level 3 or above in 2013 – 14 or have been approved for reclassification, then you register at your previous level or your new reclass level, whichever is higher. Do not assume you have been reclassified. Ask your executive. You should receive a letter from the reclassification director indicating your new level.
Associate and/or Affiliate - before you decide to check off this box, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and ask about it. This is only for people who have already registered and paid in another zone or province (affliate) or senior officials who no longer officiate and have been approved by the province to register as an Associate
All new officials must register as Level 1's (born in 1999 or later) or Level 2's (born prior to 1999). You must be at least 13 as of December 31, 2014
If you are a player or coach under Hockey Canada, you have already paid insurance with your player/coach registration fees.
If that is the case then check off "yes" to the insurance question. Then fill in the required information. If you do not know if you are going to make the AAA or AA then imputing the category is fine (Pee Wee, Bantam, Midget, etc)
If you play adult hockey, most leagues are not sanctioned by Hockey Canada. If yours is, you do not need to pay the insurance.
If you do not play or coach under Hockey Canada, then check off "no". Insurance of $39.00 will be added to your total. Please be aware that falsifying this section can lead to serious repercussions if anyone on the ice is injured during a game that you are officiating.
AS A RETURNING OFFICIAL, PLEASE ENSURE YOU UPDATE YOUR HOCKEY CANADA CATEGORY AS IT DEFAULTS TO LAST YEARS (IE. You played Pee Wee last year and you are now playing Bantam).

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS WILL BE CHARGED A MINIMUM 10.00 PROCESSING FEE AS THE ZONE IS CHARGED A CREDIT CARD FEE ON EVERY TRANSACTION. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU GET TO THE PAYMENT PART TO ENSURE YOU ONLY DO IT ONCE.
Once you have finished the payment process, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address given. Please bring this with you to class as it will confirm what supplies need to be given to you..
A rural clinic is classified as one that is not held in Calgary.
PART D – SUPPLIES
2014 – 15 is a rule change year, so all officials will need to purchase a Rule Book/ Case Book Combination.
If you are a brand new official, you will need a Hockey Alberta crest and a Hockey Canada shoulder patch for each jersey you have.
Most new officials only have one jersey and that is really all you need.
You will also need at least one arm band (2 man officiating). Most new jerseys can be bought with arm bands. This is the last year we will be able to sell arm bands and there is a limited supply.
PART E – SUPPLY PICK UP / DELIVERY
