Proposed Re-assigning Changes

The executive is proposing some minor changes to the re-assigning policy in order to encourage officials working in the A program to keep their availability on Goalline more up to date.  There is a lot of elite hockey in Calgary and with declines at these levels it make the job of assigning very difficult as the assignor tries to balance how often officials are seeing the same teams and same partners.  In addition, in order to futher all officials development we try to balance their assignments between categories and between working as a linesman or referee.  We believe these changes will help us achieve the above goals more often.

The changes are highlighted in yellow in the attached document for your review.

We will be presenting a motion at the November general meeting to adopt the new policy.
